Deposits & Fees
We have a strict no refund policy on all payments. This includes service charges, subscription based fees as well as product orders. Any additional deposits or fees made are considered non-refundable. Deposits can only be refunded if the contractual obligiation was not fulfilled by Web Uplink. Change of mind and / or consumer circumstance will not be taken into consideration.
Supply of Content & Material(s)
The client will be responsible for providing all content & material(s) in order to fulfill the requested service. Such content & material(s) may include but are not limited to:
- Written Copy
- Business Information
- Printed Material
- Logos & Graphics
- Video Content
- Product Images
- Login Credentials
- Domain / Hosting Access
Delays in supplying content & material(s) will result in an extension of your order deadline. Web Uplink reserves the right to alter our agreement if content & material(s) are not supplied in time or at all. If the client does not provide the agreed content & material(s) an order may be terminated 3 months after the initial request.
As designs are generated on a milestone approval basis we limit the number of revisals to 3. If you are unhappy with the 3 designs additional revisals maybe added to the order at an additional cost.
The client is liable for the contents and any media uploaded to the website and / or server (this includes the web server, the mail server as well as the DNS server). If the website begins to malfunction 30 days prior to completion and a suspected tampering or misedit is the culprit it will not be covered under warranty. If any malicious content is uploaded to the website or servers, the client will be held responsible and corrective action may be taken in the form of cancellations and litigation.
Cooperation & Engagement
Previous Domain & Hosting service credentials may be required in order to process a particular transfer or setup a service. Your previous website solutions provider may have access to your website backend or hosting services, as a result Web Uplink absolves itself of any responsibility if we provide solutions using your existing service provider(s). Due to the enhancement of authentication technologies (ie. 2FA) your cooperation and engagement may be required in order to fulfill an order. If you fail to cooperate during this process your order may not be fulfilled.
Rejection of Work
If you device to cancel or reject the service provided prior to completion, or not approve milestones beyond the 3 revisals provided, despite the work being satisfactory and within the scope requested. We may consider that you have been unreasonable in any rejection of the work, and reserve the right to elect to treat this contract as at an end and take measures to recover payment for the completed work.
We do not and cannot guarantee any specific position in search engine results as they are third-party providers and often update algorithms. We do however provide the best practice in search engine optimisation and often perform updates using plugins.
